Arnaud Soulier is a French director born in Paris in 1969, known for his documentaries and sound engineering work. He is particularly noted for his documentary René Vautier, cinéaste franc-tireur (2002), a portrait dedicated to filmmaker René Vautier, renowned for his political and social commitment. This work highlights Vautier’s influence on activist cinema. Besides this collaboration, Soulier has made several documentaries and worked with Vietnamese filmmakers on international projects. He lived 13 years in Vietnam, where he trained sound technicians and founded A.T Sound Studio. In 2024, he moved to Namibia to open a branch of the studio.
